Of cylindrical form with a fitted circular lid and arched carrying handle, the surface richly finished in cinnabar-red lacquer encircled by black bands and dark green borders with softly scalloped edges. Gentle wear and tonal variation reveal the depth of the layered lacquer surface, attesting to long use and careful handling. Both practical and sculptural, the vessel reflects the refined vernacular tradition of Burmese lacquerware, in which everyday domestic objects were endowed with bold colour, balanced proportion, and quiet ceremonial presence.
