A sophisticated design in the manner of Maison Jansen, the lamp is conceived around a sleek chrome column, crowned with a finely cast bronzed flower and raised on a stepped base.
Maison Jansen, founded in Paris in 1880, became the pre-eminent international decorating house of the 20th century, known for its cosmopolitan projects that married historical references with contemporary luxury. The firm’s work for illustrious clients such as the Duke and Duchess of Windsor, the Shah of Iran, and Jacqueline Kennedy imbued even the simplest forms with glamour, and this lamp reflects that same spirit of refinement.
The piece is offered with a custom parchment shade, handmade by Annes of Kensington, whose craftsmanship complements the lamp’s chic proportions. Newly rewired and PAT tested for UK fittings, it is ready for immediate use, but can be adapted for international wiring upon request.
